A great day for our first event of the year with beautiful sunshine, albeit a tad windy, lending itself to drinks on the patio in front of the splendid Hadley Wood Clubhouse. We had 41 attending, including 11 guests. 

We welcomed Jim Cooper & Marc Burchett as new member of the society and our incoming Captain Dave McCarthy. 

We were playing for the Whitbread Cup with 3 all on 40 points, the winner was Jon Lagden with the lowest handicap of 12, 2^nd was Russell Gunnett on 25 & 3^rd Jay Alexander on 28. The nearest the pins were won by Andy Hemsley at the 3^rd, Jim Cooper at the 7^th, Gary Boyes at the 10^th and Eddie Edwards very close at the 17^th . There were two guests prizes this time out won by Graham Hill a guest of Andy Hemsley and Steve Moore a guest of Simon Jackson.

The ‘Champion of Champions’ Trophy was contested between all the attending 2025 winners, Warren Blackett, John Owens, Simon Jackson, Stu Maddison, Joe Blackett,  Rob Barr, Vince Kirley and Jay Alexander. 
The winner with a net 68 score was Jay Alexander.

The annual match play draw took place and the 1^st round matches can be seen on the Match Play page.
